A native of the state of Georgia, proud mother of two beautiful daughters, and grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters, Gwendolyn Harper has a naturally giving spirit and is no stranger to caring for others. From 1996 to present day, Gwendolyn has been volunteering in her community. After receiving the Golden Rule Award and a letter of recognition from President Bill Clinton, she decided to use her God given talents and skills to help make a difference in people's lives. Gwen is a retired preschool teacher and served as a Sergeant in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. Her mission is to continue to help our veterans. She is also a lifetime member of the “Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Committee” and a member of the American Legion where they make a difference in the community and world by giving their time and talents to help other veterans and civilians. Additionally, she is a published author (works include: Served, from WAC to Soldier (2021) and The Bear Within (2022), as well as a children's book series. She also is an accomplished artist/painter, you'll find her original works featured on this site. Gwendolyn now enjoys working in the entertainment field with business Bellissima Arte', LLC, which includes teaching creative dances to children and adults through various community organizations and event coordination to include beauty pageants for all ages and fashion shows.
